One Night Only! DEAR EVERYTHING, a transformational musical uprising inspired by youth climate activism, comes to BAM in NYC on April 22 / Earth Day.
Starring the great Jane Fonda in the role of the narrator and featuring the Broadway for Arts Education Choir and the Brooklyn Music School Choir in the role of the Earth Choir.
Dear Everything tells an urgent story driven by galvanizing and emotional pop and folk music, that speaks to the dialectic of our times—adults focused on surviving the now as youth hold a fierce eye on the future. With empathy and outrage, it addresses the most pressing issue of our day—the climate crisis.
Dear Everything was born through the collective synergy of Tony Award-winning playwright V (formerly Eve Ensler); the Tony-winning director/Terrie and Bradley Bloom Artistic Director of the A.R.T., Diane Paulus (Pippin, Waitress); Grammy and Golden Globe-nominated songwriter Justin Tranter (Chappell Roan, Selena Gomez); singer and songwriter Caroline Pennell; songwriter and music producer Eren Cannata; and orchestrator Daniel Crean; with contributions by Tony Award winner, Idina Menzel.
Produced by V-Day, the global activist movement to end violence against women, gender expansive people and the Earth, in association with the American Repertory Theater (A.R.T.) at Harvard University.

On World Theater Day we celebrate the power of theater. V-Day grew out of the vision of our path-making Founder V (formerly Eve Ensler) and her seismic play The Vagina Monologues, which not only broke taboos but launched a movement grounded in the belief that art can change culture and systems.
V-Day’s latest artistic piece - DEAR EVERYTHING is a new transformational musical uprising inspired by youth activism in the face of the climate crisis.
In these times of growing authoritarianism, we need theater and art in all forms more than ever.

Today, 31 December, is the last day to make charitable donations in order to claim them on your 2025 US tax return. Your support over the years has meant the world to us, it fuels the V-Day movement, it makes everything possible.
As 2025 draws to a close, we are filled with gratitude for the survivors, artists, and activists who have made V-Day into a singular, ever-evolving global activist movement to end violence against women, gender-expansive people, and the Earth. In 2025, V-Day continued to boldly shatter norms and create spaces for grassroots dialogue through art and activism:
ONE BILLION RISING activists have been mobilizing worldwide our 2026 campaign - RISE FOR OUR BODIES, OUR EARTH, OUR FUTURE - to transform the architectures of violence and to disrupt the systems that violate, extract, diminish, exclude, and destroy.
At City of Joy in the Democratic Republic of Congo, we have graduated 2,407 survivors to date. At the V-Day Safe House for Girls in Narok County, Kenya, girls continue to break taboos while dedicating themselves to their education and communities. VOICES, our interdisciplinary audio play and campaign grounded in Black women’s stories across the diaspora, is poised to launch in communities worldwide. Following its first tour, our newest artistic production - Dear Everything: A Musical Uprising for the Earth - will take the stage at BAM in New York City on Earth Day 2026, featuring the iconic Jane Fonda as narrator. (For our full update, visit: vday.link/Gratitude2025)
This giving season, we invite you to stand with us and support the movement as we head into the new year. Your year end donation will fuel all this work. DONATE TODAY. Visit: vday.org/donate.
Every act of solidarity makes a difference.
With gratitude,
All of us at V-Day, City of Joy, One Billion Rising & VOICES
